Pairing K-POP with Ajimu Sparkling Wine
Sparkling wine pairs well with various types of music.
Perhaps one of the wines with the widest range of pairing options with music.
It goes well with everything from classical to dance music, Japanese idols, and K-pop.
One reason for this is the refreshing and smooth taste of sparkling wine, and the fine and sparkling bubbles can easily harmonize with the light beats and sounds of music.
The wine we will be using this time is a dry sparkling wine made with 100% Chardonnay grapes from Oita prefecture.

This time, I would like to try pairing the sparkling wine from AJIMU with K-pop.
As I am not an expert in this field either, I would like to try it as a way to learn more.
Let's start with a relatively recent K-pop song.

The sparkling wine's bubbly and lively character matches well with the pop sound of the music video. This is good to hear!
Of course it goes well, but I think a sweeter sparkling wine would be even better..
Next up is this one. The coolness of the music pairs well with the balanced acidity of the wine.

クラシックからダンスミュージック,日本のアイドル, K-POPまで相性は良い。
理由のひとつはスパークリングワインの持つ清涼感と口当たりの良さ、
泡の細やかなキラキラ感が、音楽の持つ軽やかなビート、音色と融和しやすいからだろう。
今回使用するのはこちらのワイン。
大分県でつくられたシャルドネを１００%使用した辛口のスパークリングワイン。
日本を代表するスパークリングワインのひとつ。

比較的最近の楽曲から。まずはこちら。
泡の華やさがpvのpopさとも合う。これは良い....
もちろん合うけど、もっと甘口スパーリングの方がいいかな....
次はこれ。楽曲のクールさとワインの酸のバランスは良い。
HYBE LABELSからはこれ。うん.....
これ、かっこいいな....。曲も洗練されているし、とてもワインとも合う....。
結論。基本的に合う。
ただし分野的に詳しくないので、もっと合う楽曲があったら教えてほしい.....

を飲むことが多い。
ソーヴィニョン・ブランの魅力は
爽やかな柑橘系の香り。
とくにニュージランドのソーヴィニョン・ブランなら
香りだけでわかる、というひとも多いかな....。
それくらい特徴的で猫のおしっこの香りとかとも言われる。

MATUAはマオリ語で総本家を意味し、ソーヴィ二ヨン・ブランをニュージーランドで初めて生産したワイナリー。ニュージーランドを代表する世界的なワイナリー。
うん。シャープでやや辛口。

Extradition
Extraditionはオーストラリアのアシッドフォークといわれるけど、
アンビエントフォークという名称の方がふさわしい。
自然豊かな大地を感じさせる、とてもすばらしい作品。
こちらはTully の『Sea Of Joy』1972年作品。ほぼExtraditonと同メンバーらしい。
うーん。やはりよくワインともマッチする。
大自然に思いを馳せながら、ワインと音楽を楽しみたい。

Waiting for the Moon
There is a wine called « Tsuki wo matsu » . It is a slightly sweet white wine with a rich and beautiful flavor, made from the Kerner grapes grown in Yoichi, Hokkaido by Coco Farm Winery.

According to the winery, the name of the wine comes from a saying byTouri Nakane, a scholar of the Edo period, which goes, "Wait for the rising moon and do not pursue the falling flowers." This saying was written on the wall of a village school founded by Nakane in Sano. (From "Nihonjin no Eichi" by Michifumi Isoda, Shincho-Shinsho)
I love this wine and drink it every season. What I like most about it is its poetic name.
What kind of grape is Kerner?
"Kerner grapes, which were approved in 1969, are now considered a masterpiece of modern German grape breeding. The variety is named after Justinus Kerner, a doctor and songwriter from Wurttemberg who in the 19th century recommended drinking a glass of wine as a natural remedy. Today, Kerner grapes are cultivated not only in Germany, but also in Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and even in the UK and Canada. According to the statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 2014, Kerner grapes are cultivated on 57.3 hectares in Hokkaido, Japan. We were attracted to Kerner grapes by their bright aroma, fresh acidity, and rich fruitiness, so we asked Yoichi's contract farmers to grow them for us."
This white grape was not born naturally, but through crossbreeding. As it was born in Germany, which is further north than Hokkaido, it has a major characteristic of cold resistance that can withstand temperatures as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius

Personally, my favorite album by Bruce Cockburn is "2nd".

『月を待つ』
というワインがある。
ココ・ファーム・ワイナリーが北海道・余市産のケルナー種の葡萄からつくる果実味豊かできれいでリッチな味わいのやや甘口の白ワインだ。
ワイナリーによると
ワインの名前の由来は「出る月を待つべし、散る花を追うことなかれ」という江戸時代の中根東里の言葉から名付けました。この清貧の儒学者が佐野にひらいた村塾の壁書にこの言葉があったそうです。(磯田道史著「日本人の叡智」新潮新書) らしい。
とても大好きで毎シーズン飲んでいる、おすすめのワインだ。
何よりも名前がポエティックなのがいい。
ケルナーとはどんな品種なんだろうか。
”1969年に公認されたケルナー種の葡萄は、今では現代ドイツの葡萄交配の大傑作と言われています。品種名は、19世紀にグラス1杯のワインを自然の薬として飲むよう勧めたヴュルテンベルグの医者で、酒宴の歌の作家でもあるJustinus Kerner氏にちなんだもの。現在はドイツをはじめオーストリアやイタリア、スイスまたイギリスやカナダ等でも栽培されています。日本の北海道では、農林水産省の2014年統計によると57.3ヘクタール。私たちもケルナーが持つ、華やかな香り、みずみずしい酸、豊かなフルーツに魅力を感じ、余市の契約栽培農家さんたちに栽培をお願いしています。”
とのこと。自然的にではなく交配によって誕生した白ブドウ。
北海道よりも北部に位置するドイツで生まれただけあって、マイナス10度の寒さにも耐えられる耐寒性が大きな特長みたいです。

ブルース・コバーンだ。彼には『waiting for the moon』という曲がある。
ブルース・コバーン（Bruce Cockburn）カナダのシンガーソングライター。彼の曲のスタイルはフォークからジャズ風のロックまで幅広く、歌詞も人権、環境問題、政治、宗教などの幅広い範囲をカバーしている。
コバーンは40年以上にわたるキャリアのなかで、34枚のアルバムを発表している。
個人的に好きなのは2ndでレコードだと結構レアだ。

What might you be listening to when you drink wine?
When I drink wine alone at home, I listen to music on vinyl. Eventually, I came to believe that there is music that matches or does not match with wine, and it has the value of pairing, just like food.
I have always felt that Japanese wine and ambient music go well together.

This time, let's focus on pairing wine with ambient music and consider it.
First of all, what is ambient music?
"Ambient music is a genre of music that emphasizes sound and atmosphere over traditional musical structure or rhythm. It may have no net composition, beat, or structured melody. It uses layers of sound textures that enable passive and active listening and promotes a sense of tranquility and meditation. This genre is said to evoke qualities of "atmosphere," "visual," and "subdued" quality. It may include soundscape recordings of natural sound, and the sounds of acoustic instruments such as piano, strings, and flute that are synthesized by a synthesizer."
Perhaps the "subdued" quality mentioned in this definition or the emphasis on tranquility and meditation is similar to Japanese wine?

みなさんはワインを飲んでいるとき、何を聴いているだろうか？
以前から感じていたことがある。
日本ワインとアンビエント•ミュージックは、合う。
⁂ おそらく日本ワインはフュージョンやクラシックとも相性はいいが、それはまた別の機会に。
今回はアンビエント•ミュージックに絞ってワインとのペアリングについて考察してみる。
そもそもアンビエント•ミュージックとはなにか？
環境音楽（かんきょうおんがく、英: ambient music）、アンビエント・ミュージックは、伝統的な音楽の構成やリズムよりも音色や雰囲気を重視した音楽のジャンルである。正味の構成、ビート、構造化されたメロディを持たないこともある[5]。受動的、能動的なリスニング[6]を可能にする音のテクスチャーの層を使用し、穏やかさや瞑想の感覚を促す[7] [8]。このジャンルは、「雰囲気」、「視覚的[9]」、「控えめ」な品質を呼び起こすと言われている[10]。自然のサウンドスケープが含まれることもあり、ピアノ、弦楽器、フルートなどのアコースティック楽器の音がシンセサイザーでエミュレートされることもある[11]。
おそらくこの定義の中でも「控えめ」な品質
という部分。または穏やかさや瞑想の感覚を促す
という点に日本ワインとの相似性があるのではないか....
